ok i have a 1995 silverado extended cab automatic with a 350 under on the hood. wanna build the motor soon and happen to get this turbo bigger than my arm so ……….. i want it in the truck now. how do i figure out what kind of turbo it is strictly been a all motor guy dont know squat about turbos.
all i know is this the turbo is a GARRETT A/R .60 M-24. i do know that the turbo came from a army rig of some sort.and i want my motor to be able to shut these ricers up here. live in hawaii so is moisture a factor also?

It says Garrett A.R. 60 M11 on it…can someone give me a page with specs and also trying to find a rebuild kit for it but i see things like t25 and t30 for rebuild kits but it doesnt say that on my turbo ? also where can i get replacement parts for like the guards to hold it together and the bolts? thanks

I’ve been speaking to someone about buying a turbo kit they’ve assembled for my car. Essentially, everything in the kit is brand new (still in packaging) except the turbo itself. The turbo is a refurbished Garrett T3/T4 model. I just want to know if refurbished turbos in general are still of good quality, or if I should avoid them altogether. Please, anyone with experience in the matter, share your opinions with me. I only intend to be pushing about 5-7 PSI out of the turbo, and here is an image of the turbo I am about to buy http://members.cox.net/enfovast/12.jpg so if you notice anything fishy about it, please let me know.
